Weekend Wanderings #20: E.T. Wickham's Headless Historical Sculptures🌾🐂

Hi! Happy Friday from Forest Heights in beautiful Athens, Georgia.💚🦌

Hope y’all are hanging tough for our ice cold start to 2025. 😵‍💫 My week was a doozy so it seemed fitting to re-visit a trip I’d taken to see E.T. Wickham’s disintegrating sculptures. Wickham spent the last 20 years of his life making life-size cement statues. What remains are disembodied legs, headless riders, and bulls that used to have red lightbulb eyes.
