Weekend Wanderings #19: Off-Season Beaches

Kicking off 2025 with two hibernating beach towns:

• Myrtle Beach in the off-season: castle ruins, mini golf, dead mall arcades, cults and buffets. If you’re driving from Athens, GA, I highly recommend stopping in Bishopville, SC 🎡

• Panama City Beach in the off-season: an ultra quiet spot in the winter with stretches of empty seashore and non-stop oysters. A good city to pair with your next trip to Columbus, GA. 🦪
