Weekend Wanderings #12: Happy Real Halloween!🖤🎃

Hello! I wanted to send this week’s newsletter out one day early to wish y’all a Happy Halloween! 🕸️🕷️😈🍬👻

Last week I went on a road trip to Tennessee and the first stop was Greenback Castle, Floyd “Junior” Banks’ doomsday “Fortress of Faith.” I loved it, in spite of reservations about the messaging (I do not believe in a biblical hell and this guy definitely does). But I would still recommend checking it out because the unfinished celestial spires, pet cemetery, cartoon paintings, and the pale horseman’s torture chamber are cool to hang out in… for a little bit. I also started a money diary on the blog so here is what I spent in October. Talking about money/personal finance is not everyone’s cup of tea (I put up a poll in an IG story and the result was 30% NO MONEY TALK) but I find it fascinating so here we go. 🤑
